Work continues within the East Magazine and a new project has started with casemate 4. The casemate at the moment is being dug out of infill to reveal what remains of the supporting walls for the floor joists, it is expected that they will have to be rebuilt. Yellow stocks and the window sills are on site, brick layer booked to follow on with the building of the casemate back, then we will have the remainder of the back measured up for the curved timber structure to match those already installed last year.
But during March the grounds were used by local youth raising money be sleeping out as part of the Great Tommy Sleep Out, the group raised just shy of £1000 for the cause.
