A lot has happened at the fort this month with regards to our winter restoration works and the lottery grant.
The café is progressing nicely, the furniture has been placed inside the café from storage and the kitchen units have arrived and are being assembled. The electricians have also been on site wiring up the café with an industrial look, lots of conduit and lighting made from water pipes ! The disabled ramp has also been installed to the entrance of the café.
Meanwhile at the East magazine both inside and outside work carries on with the installation of another shell lift door set and external vents/concrete repairs. Inside work has begun on the magazine joinery with doors and door frames being fitted.
