Wheels of Time

The Wheels of Time educational scheme is aimed at engaging young children aged three to eleven with history in their local area, and across the county.

Medway Queen Preservation Society

The Medway Queen was launched in 1924 and entered service on Thames estuary routes in May of that year. She was used as a minesweeper in WWII and is famous for her seven trips to Dunkirk in 1940.

Project Redsand

Project Redsand was set up with the aims of Conserving, Preserving and Interpreting the history of the structure known as Redsands Fort, located approximately 10 kilometres off the Isle of Sheppey.

The Palmerston Forts Society

The Palmerston Forts are a group of forts and associated structures around the coast of the United Kingdom. The forts were built during the Victorian period on the recommendations of the 1860 Royal Commission on the Defence of the United Kingdom, prompted by concerns about the strength of the French Navy.

The Palmerston Forts Society brings together enthusiasts from across the globe, with a main focus on the Forts situated within Hampshire.
