At present, all Slough Fort Tours are cancelled until further notice due to the current status of the COVID-19 pandemic. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
To help welcome all our supporters back, we're changing how we run our tours here at Slough Fort - previously, there would have been one tour every Sunday, every week. Now, tours will be reduced to every other week, but with two tours running. The first timeslot will be for an 11am start, with the second slot being for a 2pm start. Please note that anyone attending tours will be expected to be on site fifteen minutes before their tour's start time to allow for a safety briefing and a prompt start.
To keep within UK Government guidelines, all Slough Fort tours will be ticketed-only events, and as such we are unable to allow admittance for those who just turn up on the day. This allows for the safeguarding of our visitors, our Volunteer Team and our Trustee Team. Please note that face masks must be worn at all times while on the Slough Fort site. If you do not have a face mask, one will be available to purchase for a small fee.
Tours are expected to take approximately 1 hour 20 minutes, although this time can vary from tour to tour. Please be aware that the Slough Fort site has a number of stairways and other uneven surfaces that may make areas of the site unsuitable for wheelchairs or prams.
While we wish for visitors to make the most of their ability to view Slough Fort, we do ask all visitors stay to designated footpaths only and not climb fences.
