Slough Fort Community Heritage Walks

The Slough Fort Preservation Trust runs Community Heritage Walks around the village of Allhallows and the Isle of Grain. A wealth of local history is available to learn from start to finish, guided by one of the Fort’s Trustees, Keith.

The first of these Community Heritage Walks ran at the start of 2020, and a hiatus was put on during COVID, however we are looking to bring these back soon – watch this space!

Family Friendly Spooky Ghost Story Telling Evenings

The Slough Fort Family Friendly Spooky Ghost Story Telling Evenings are lead by a Victorian gentleman with a lantern, taking in all aspects of the Slough Fort site – inside, on the roof, and undergound. Prepare yourselves for spooky stories based on local history, paranormal discoveries from Slough Fort, and the personal experiences of some of the local villagers. Be careful, as on the evening – you never know who might be around corner!

The last Ghost Story Telling Evening we ran was a resounding success… Watch this space to see if we plan to do it again!
